Anyone able to use VPN + MLB.tv on your TV?
I can get it to work on my iPhone or iPad, but my two devices connected to TVs — Apple TV 4K and Xbox Series X — can’t seem to consistently work with smart DNS from Nord VPN.
Also, if you have TMobile or Metro PCS, you can MLB.tv for free with T-Mobile Tuesdays.
I am not a representative of T-Mobile or MetroPCS.
How does one do this ?
I have Proton VPN, but it’s unreliable in actually bypassing the blackout. Does Nord work better?
Been trying this on fire stick, but the VPN seems to slow down my internet too much to stream the game.

Is it decide specific or can my entire home Network be under vpn?
To add on to this from another perspective, this is my first year using MLB.TV and have been very happy with it. I have it on my phone, used it through the website and have it on both my TV’s. All work really well. Additionally, “free” access to local radio broadcasts if you’re travelling.

I can’t get mine to cast to my TV. Chromecast is old so maybe just need a new one.
Additionally, Bally streaming sucks, I’m dedicated to watching as many Bravos pitches as I can this year, and that “commercial break in progress” screen with generic pump-up music is burned into my brain, even when asleep. I’m contemplating cancelling my cable/bally service and using your method
Yeah, this is what I do. Open the Bally app and login via cable provider. Use my dad’s Uverse login info.

The ads on the Bally sports app stream are like 50/50 as to if they’re going to fuck up the stream during commercial breaks. You’d think if your goal is ultimately a stand alone streaming service you would have a fully functional streaming app.
This is what I do right now. Using a friend’s Xfinity account, trading him some game tickets this year from my 27 game pack.
Ultimately the point is moot here because they’re not technically adept enough to use them safely. Thanks though!
I don’t think Sinclair will. I read a big write up on that deal and they have no incentive to take less $$$. They have billions wrapped up in the regional sports networks. They get a premium by being exclusive, so our recourse is to get NordVPN. Hell, 2 years of NordVPN is less than 1-month of any plan with Bally’s.
