Like others my payment card (Revolut) doesn’t match billing country (Argentina). There was other post who tried Samsung phone + VPN to Argentina and it showed him $4.29 and he successfully subscribed. Using Android Studio Emulator - no matter how hard I tried it has always showed Argentinian currency ARS3699. Today Bluestack for Apple Silicon was released so I tried. And it worked!
I use system VPN TunnelBear (free). Installed Youtube app on the Bluestack. All payment methods got initially blocked due to suspicious activity on account and purchase weren’t able to complete. The trick was to disconnect from VPN (at the last step when you enter password to confirm purchase), let the connection timeout and re-connect VPN again.
I added VISA card as a backup which is not even allowed in Argentina.
PS: If you don’t see $4.29 → don’t try. It won’t work.
Wowwww just got a 1yr from Marc on the pinned post but my dad just got an email saying his Ukraine subscription won’t renew and this method worked flawlessly. I used nox player instead of BlueStacks and didn’t even have to disconnect VPN. You are a legend.
I created an apple account via apple music and put India as my location. Then I logged into that account on my other iPhone and added a gift card to my account that I bought from amazon India.
Then through the app store I went to youtube and signed up to premium again. 389 rupees so £3.63 family.
Left enough gift card money for it to automatically pay each month for at least 6 months.
I can confirm this works. This is just like the old VPN trick but it only works for Argentina and on BlueStacks for some reason… Which is very strange.
Did you have to change your Google account region to Argentina for this to work? I can’t seem to change my region due to the fact that I am in a family group but it would be a pain for me to disband it and have everyone in the group change their account to be in Argentina
