How did you get it to accept your payment? I added my revolut card both with VPN turned on and off but each time, i authorize my card and then get the error that i need a payment method from the billing country://
when i go to the subscribe page i get the prices in TRY because the payment profile is setup to turkey on the account (family manager). should i be removing the payment profile before trying to renew? just want to be 100% sure because i dont wanna mess up the google one sub. cheers

Interestingly, I updated all my address and payment accounts on Google and followed the steps, got the correct amount of ARS 3699 for the family plan, however when trying to pay with revolut I get the error “the purchase requires a payment method from your country”.
My previous Indian sub is still active until the 25th , could that be the issue?

Managed to do it by making a new gmail with region set to Argentina. Used Surfshark and Bluestacks, opened YouTube in Bluestancks and logged into the new account. Added payment method which is European Revolut, and it went all the way.
However it won’t let me add accounts to the family group as they are outside country. Obvs not changing my main account to Arg as I use that for Google Maps etc.
So I will log into YouTube app on my iPhone with this new gmail account. Prob good to start with fresh account and no channel subscriptions anyway. Maybe.
I’m not seeing an ARS option in Revolut
I am following the steps and everything is working fine (I see $4.29) but I am stuck on the password to confirm purchase window. How long do I have to wait for connection to time out? I don’t see any message like:“connection timed out” or similar.

I have signed in to a second google account on YouTube via BlueStacks on Windows and connected to NordVpn from Windows to Argentina. The subscription price shows the Argentinian price but only for individual plan. Does anyone know how to get the family plan ?
I had been on a Romanian family plan since January 2024 after previously having paid individually for a year (Turkey) and individually for several years (India). I hadn’t been checking my emails on the “head of household” account I created for the Romania family plan. I had until the day before the family plan price increase to agree to the new price. I ended up surprised on Christmas Day that I no longer had Premium.
I’m not sure what would have happened if I had clicked to continue with the new pricing, but I know I wasn’t able to use ExpressVPN or Psiphon to renew my Premium at the new rate. The only thing that worked (after dozens of tries) was ExpressVPN on a Galaxy Note 7 (don’t ask). I had to try the disconnect VPN trick. I almost got it right after about 5 tries, but my bank blocked the transaction. After I told them to chill, it took at least a couple dozen tries to get the family plan payment to go through. I went from paying about $8.30/month to about $11.50/month for a family plan (due to the rate increase in Romania) using my US-based credit card.

Ta! Worked for me as well. I had to purge all payment profiles in my Google account (including an old Argentinian one), then added a new Argentinian payment profile. The rest went as you described.
