i had my weird ass vpn get picked up as unauthorized software. cant appeal it because i wasnt hacked so im just fucked out of 80$, i just wanted to say thank you to activision to banning me tho bc now that i cant waste my time on some cod matches so i will actually do something more enjoyable and productive with my life. this was probably the last call of duty they dropped lately that was actually fun to me so it kinda sucks but nr lol.

That sucks brother!! Ignore all these people who don’t understand why we use VPNs and how we can easily forget to turn it off before opening COD. I haven’t used one in a long time but I remember almost getting on the game without turning it off several times. Im still all green thankfully.

What vpn were you using? I’ve had nordvpn that I use for torrenting on by accident a few times and nothing happened.

I get some packet loss issues and shit with express vpn but never been banned or anything. It’s almost necessary with gta online because of hackers, not sure if it’s the same with cod but better safe than sorry
Call of Duty has gotten old after all these years. All you do is run around the same maps and do the same thing over and over. It gets boring and so does having/wanting to buy their battle passes that expire after 60 days. It’s a big money scheme
Unfortunately, they started crackong down on VPNS due to people using them for other reasons, like getting easier lobbies, etc
How do you know it was the VPN and not something else? I play DMZ with my VPN on 100% of the time and have never been banned for it. Using a VPN does NOT violate their TOS.

I hate everything about this game at this point and plan to uninstall. Lately it won’t even open on my Xbox and says updates needed but there are none available
