I can’t attach a screenshot, but when attempting to configure AdGuard-VPN on my router, IPSec is available, and WireGuard says “coming soon” (but greyed out) and it’s been many months since that option even appeared.
Any idea when this will be implemented? This will allow us to consolidate our VPN solution and move entirely to AdGuard from Nord. Cheers.
Hello! We are still in the process of adding WireGuard support. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to complete it within the previously expected timeframe, and we cannot provide a specific timeline at this moment.
In the meantime, we’ve published setup guides for configuring AdGuard VPN for Linux on Keenetic routers and routers using OpenWRT or Asuswrt/Merlin firmware. This might be a suitable solution for you.
Ubiquiti Unifi routers do not support IPSec for VPN clients, only WireGuard and OpenVPN. So it’s not a config issue, it’s a compatibility issue.
Will you offer a dedicated IP option by any chance? Otherwise this could cause some issues. We currently have a solution from Nord but it’s OpenVPN (they do not offer a WireGuard solution for routers either) which we want to retire in favor of Wireguard. But we also will need a dedicated IP address (doesn’t matter if it’s shared, just needs to be the same IP so users don’t constantly have to CAPTCHA/etc)
