im somewhat new to torrenting and i cant find a decent vpn that doesnt make me pay to access a decent server! any suggestions? id prefer it to be fast, but as long as it doesnt take like 5 minutes to load a page im good. ty!
There isn’t a good free VPN for torrenting. If you don’t have the money to get a VPN (Mullvad starts at $5, AirVPN $7) or Real Debrid ($4), stick to direct downloading.
Also, you won’t need a VPN at all if you’re not in a country that cares about piracy.
I hate to sound like an old grouch but for Pete’s sakes buy a VPN subscription.

As everyone’s commented, free VPN’s are useless, offer no anonymity whatsoever — especially for torrenting. Buy one, dude.

Honestly you get what you pay for and free ain’t it my friend. Real Debrid is a legit, inexpensive choice for safely getting torrents. I personally use NordVPN and it’s been great so far.

Basically, you give it a torrent file or a magnet link, it Torrents the file on their servers, and it sends you a direct download link. A VPN isn’t needed at all.

While private trackers are less likely to have copyright holders or their authorized 3rd parties monitoring torrent than a public tracker, it’s not impossible. Private trackers hold open signups or registrations, some more than others and on many users can invite people in and they don’t always know those people all too well…anyone can pose as anyone online.
I use VPN with my private trackers too. If a private tracker doesn’t permit VPN use them I don’t use it.

Not really. You’ll be just as safe if you bind your VPN to your Bittorent client.
I also forgot to mention Real Debrid caches torrents, meaning you can get the file of a torrent instantly. This isn’t the case for every torrent file though.

Not within Real Debrid. You need to do this with an external source. You can obviously use a site like torrentgalaxy, but I use an app called Stremio with am addon named Torrentio to do this.
