What browser & search engine do you use?

I believe most of us have heard about private search engines like Duck, StartPage, SearX, or more recently Brave Search. Also many browsers, like Firefox, Safari and Brave, promote privacy and security. Out of curiosity, I’m wondering what the “web setup” of ProtonMail users looks like ?

I’m on Brave but am still reluctantly using Google Search

Firefox - Ublock, Bitwarden, Noscript - DuckDuckGo

When using browser for shopping, I use Comodo Dragon - Kiosk Mode

Safari + Wipr and DuckDuckGo for the search engine

Firefox with Containers, Ublock, and Bitwarden. For search, I use Startpage.

Safari, Firefox, and duck duck go. DDG has been excellent.

Also running PiHole on an old laptop, but it’s not without flaws.

Brave with Brave Search. Duckduckgo is good but it’s an indexer not a search engine.

Brave + DDG or Tor + DDG for most browsing.

I use Firefox (almost) exclusively for streaming services - I use ProtonVPN + split tunneling to exclude Firefox from the VPN. uBlock Origin + Privacy Badger + HTTPS Everywhere extensions on it.

I use Firefox configured to my preferences with a few add-ons and DuckDuckGo.
For the most part, I do not face many problems in this setup.

Lately switched to Brave, and im using Brave search, cause it usually seems enough for me, only if i have some harder questions then i try other search engines

Firefox + DDG + Pi-Hole and 1password for passwords.

If have specific search I use google, but this is quite rare.

Another Brave user here, used DDG search before but Brave search is working fine and I like the presentation better.
Firefox I tried several times and I just can’t get used to how it looks and feels.
