I really like Vypr VPN. It’s based in neutral Switzerland, which I like a lot, and it has tons of system incompatibilities. Most importantly, it’s quick, stable, easy to use, and light.
I’ve also used SurfEasy and IPVanish. Both were fine. But I really iked Vypr VPN and I think it’s a good investment.
Chceck privacytools.io site. I’ve used cryptostorm.is (which in my opinion is the best), AzireVPN, vpn.ht and found this providers efficient and cheap.
I vote for astrill vpn. I’ve had PIA for a couple years now. But I just got gigabyte Internet and I can never reach over 100 mbps. I tried astrill and I’m reaching 700mbps with it. Also a little tip if the vpn your looking into getting doesn’t have a free trial just use there contact info and ask for a free trail. Most of the time they will give you 7 day trail.
I use vpn express, it’s highly recommended because they don’t save your history or something like that., but I think I might switch because I guess I been missing out on better ones
Depends what you’re looking for. Probably not the best option for a privacy-conscious mind but I use OctaneVPN; it’s super cheap, pretty much close to my ISP max speeds, and I’ve never had any downtime issues.
I’ve used a VPN called TunnelBear for a while now, and I really like it. It’s very user friendly and straightforward. It’s relatively cheap and very worth it; I’d give it a try.
I’ve only used one, Tunnelbear. I used it to watch Dragonball z on funimation, it isn’t available in the UK version so I used Tunnelbear to appear as if I was a US based PC and it worked like a charm.
Popular mechanics had a discount on VPN Unlimited - I got a lifetime subscription for pretty cheap. Don’t know if that’s still offered, but it works on mobile devices too.
It takes a bit of playing with, but now I have the certificates loaded for my router (to VPN all traffic leaving my house), the client on my pcs (which is super simple to use) and also PIA service using the OpenVPN app on my phone so I can VPN when on public wifi.
I never experience any slowdowns (My download speed goes from a steady 40 Mbit to a steady 38 Mbit/s, which is in line with the standard amount of encryption overhead) and my ping doesn’t really change at all (goes from about 30 ms to 35 ms) but strangely my ping is more steady on the VPN, typically to more than 1-2 ms of jitter (which is rock solid). They have a massive list of servers.
The price is in line with other VPNs, but they take security REALLY seriously. They’ve routinely shut down servers in places where the country has demanded they log user info (which is something they refuse t do). You can even pay with prepaid Walmart gift cards so you are completely untrackable. (You could pay someone to walk into Walmart and buy a stack of gift cards with cash).
I agree used them for 2 years now no complaints at all. They are supposedly one of the few who won’t let your traffic history go to anyone who asks even government/law enforcement . Or so I read but you never know.
Absolutely 100%. PrivacyTools checks every VPN with a very strict checklist to make sure they don’t track you. If they track you, that kind of eliminates the point of a VPN.
They have servers all over the world. And there’s no way for PIA to reconcile who you are. I forgot my password once and had to create a new account since they had no way of attaching me to the 10 digit number that was my username.
I lost my account password once and had to create a whole new account since PIA had no way of attaching users to accounts on account of their lack of corporate record keeping (which in this case is desirable)
