Any other VPNs or a way to fix the problem?
I’m stuck in the same situation the tcg app told me the game are not relased in my area, obviusly i run tunnelbear before open the app if anyone have any update please respond on this message so i can know
Same here. I think the vpn is working though. Maybe they patched it?
Days ago I’ve fixed this by cancelling the chance both from tunnel bear and pokemon, restarting the phone, activate vpn, entering the game
Anyway since tunnelbear sometimes won’t work, I’ve buyed nord vpn, now I don’t have any problems
But if you want to keep it free, use the first method above

Proton vpn is my way to go. 12€ for one month, I canceled the subscription immediately and I have no headaches getting in. It’s worth it for me for one month of collecting.
Funny because I already had Proton VPN and I am not able to get access. I am getting “Access Restricted” even though I am VPN’d into NZ. Did you have to do anything other than VPN and then open the game?
Looking to do the same but idk which one choose nord or proton is just for 1 month until release. Any advice?
You could try to choose different servers in NZ, proton let’s you do this. Other than that I don’t know, it worked flawless for me every time.
Were you just on Wi-Fi or mobile data? I’m on Android and it seems some people are having issues with it.
