This may not fit this sub perfectly, but I have tried posting this on r/nordvpn (wont let me post unless i have 100 or more karma) and r/VPN (wont let my post show up on sub; no explination or answer from mods).
If anyone has any tips for how I could post this to a more suitable subreddit, please let me know. It feels kind of ridiculous that I dont meet the credentials to post anywhere. I have messaged mods from both subs, but to no avail.
yesterday (10/11/2019) I connected to Mexico #26 server on nordvpn.
I decided to check location by using this website: ( https://mylocation.org/ ). I have attached a screenshot.
It shows the server location as being in san diego, USA. Note that is not my actual physical location either.
Some mexico servers are actually coming up in mexico.
Testing on other “Mexico” servers:

Mexico #19 - San Diego
Mexico #17 - outside Mexico City, Mexico
Mexico #15 - outside Mexico City, Mexico
I have not tested all servers in Mexico, or any servers in any other countries.
This seems a little worrying to me, is there a good explanation I am not thinking of? I would expect the servers to be located in the countries advertised.

You should also earn the 100 karma points so you can post in r/NordVPN. It’d be interesting to see their response. I’m unsure why r/VPN didn’t approve it.

As you can see, it gave two results. The first IP range stating 192.154.192.0/18 and the other 192.154.196.0/24, the first seems to be an incorrect result but both of them have vivid hosting name on them, though the other with added VPN provider’s name.
Edit: whois results do have some type of disclaimer that usually says:

So, that might be it, i.e. an error or inaccuracy but not VPN provider’s configuration error. What I don’t really understand is why both have vivid hosting name on them.
Also, some of their Buffalo servers that are supposed to be in New York State, USA come up as Panama.
