Question from VPN users on PC

before everyone goes crazy on their keyboards and accuse me of trying to tune down SBMM , I must say that the only reason I’m trying to use VPN is that Warzone servers ip and ports have been blocked in my country in the recent weeks.

 

Now getting to the problem I’m facing.I cant find a single match when connected with VPN,searching ping goes up to 200ms and nothing happens(not shadowbanned). Currently have tested Mullvad and Expressvpn which both had the same issue.

But when I connect my console with a VPN there is no problem and I can find lobbies.

Has anyone got any idea how to fix this or has been successful with another VPN service which works on Warzone?

things I have tried :

  • using Wireguard , OpenVPN , L2TP ,IKEv2

  • tested both TCP and UDP protocols

  • directed the VPN connection to my main PC from another PC so the anti cheat wont detect any VPN client (if that even is the case ?!)

Vpn isn’t against any terms of service so the anit cheat doesn’t matter

It means you can’t connect to that region… obviously the traffic in said server matters. You vpn to somewhere late night/early morning for better results… you are always going to have a high ping trying to connect far away. Also worth mentioning each vpn has different connections that are prioritized. Like express for India, pia for South America and nord for Japan etc

  • use UDP for best performance.
  • back in days some locations in ExpressVPN&NordVPN were blocked. Switching to other fixed searching for game problem. I haven’t tested it in the last year.

Try speaking/chatting to the ExpressVPN support. I have always found them very responsive and helpful.

I have exactly the same problem, I have to use a VPN because the game is blocked in my region and I can not find the match. Dude were you able to do something about it?
