Need Help, I want to play multiplayer with my friends. -Have hamachi And Radmin VPN its just not working

I’ve been searching around the web for a while, I want to play co-op with my friends we tried hamachi and Radmin VPN its not working.

Most of the tutorials are from a long time ago and they don’t really seem to work. When my friends tries to connect it just says, “Retrying” and fails. Just saying we followed the tut perfectly, we tried doing the lan command and I saw a comment from a few years ago saying that you have to load into the co-op mode first we tried that too.

  1. Access your router’s local IP v4 address in your browser (i.e. Chrome). It can be router.asus.com, asusrouter.com, 192.168.1.1 or other. Login credentials may be admin, root, user and password admin, root, user, 1234, 12345, 123456 or nothing.
  2. Port forward 27015 (both TCP & UDP).
  3. In Steam at Cry of Fear properties, add launch parameters: +port 27015 -port 27015
  4. Visit www.whatismyipaddress.com and copy-paste your public IP v4 address to your friends so they type in their console to join: connect yourip:27015
  5. Note that only 1 device (i.e. PC) connected to that router may have 27015 forwarded at the same time.
  6. Yes, you can choose another port. Maximum is 65535.

So does hamachi or radmin still work, I’ve tried port forwarding b4 but my routers admin page wasn’t accessible

They can still work. However, if the invited players were unable to connect maybe a wrong IP address was provided to them. To see all the IP addresses (in format XX.YY.ZZ.WW) a PC has, see Hamachi/Radmin informations’ panel, type in CMD (Command Prompt) ipconfig and for the public IP address, to see it, access www.whatismyipaddress.com in your browser. It should be working somehow (so the invited players can properly join).

It’s still not working, i’ve tried a few ip addresses and adding the port I added cof to exceptions of firewall

I got it working, my friend had to enable firewall exceptions in radmin

Oh forgot to say that, Firewall should be off. At least, while playing. Then you turn it on again.
