Mobile Connect not working on M1 Pro Macbook Pros

Anyone else run into this issue? We have probably 200 Macs in deployment right now, and literally all of them work fine with Mobile Connect except the latest model of 14 inch MBPs - the ones with M1 Pro processors. I have several with regular M1s and those all work fine.

The issue that we’re having is that, while the client will connect, it simply refuses to pass traffic across the tunnel. We’ve tried the latest version of Mobile Connect, the latest version of macOS, the latest firmware on our SMAs, reading the logs that come out of Mobile Connect, and opening a case with Sonicwall support - everything has come up empty handed.

If anyone has any tips or tricks that could get me on the right track, I’d be much obliged. TIA!

Check the network order. Make sure that VPN is on top of the list.

This is still a problem! Just ran into it today. Opened case 44146840.

I don’t have the option for the VPN in the network order window - only WiFi and the Thunderbolt Bridge.

Did you resolve this problem. Cant get mobile connect to work on an m1 pro.

Bumping this. We would to eliminate our split tunnel SSL VPN and to do so will need to be able to raise the service order of the Mobile Connect VPN to be above WiFi and the local network.

I can do this for L2TP VPN confections I have made nativley in the OS but like you, have no option to see SonicWALL or mobile connect VPNs.

Did you ever find out how to do this?

Sorry, just seeing this. Due to business needs - this issue being one of them, as our Mac population continues to grow - we switched to Palo Alto GlobalProtect.

Not a satisfying answer from a Mobile Connect perspective, I know :frowning:
