Hi everyone, I have DS423+ and Keepsolid/VPNUnilimited. Spent hours trying to enable it for NAS VPN and gluetun docker container connect with no success. I wonder if anyone managed to set it up with Synology.
Did you find a solution to this?
I’m at a similar struggle. Trying to do it on my DS923+.
The big issue, I think, is that the NAS wants a username and password, but the guide from VPNunlimited says that they should be left blank. And at KeepSolid/VPNUnlimited I get some usernames and passwords, but neither work.
nope, use L2TP VPN in DSM itself not docker.
I found out that they have an issue with their configuration and no planned date to solve it. Only workaround for the moment is to reduce the security of the OpenVPN protocol.
You can do this by adding “tls-cipher DEFAULT:@SECLEVEL=0” to your .ovpn file. Then it works, that’s what I did to “solve” my problem.
