i used to use expressvpn even though i leeched off my friend- i didn’t want to pay it consistently because i dont play the game that much anymore. it weirdly stopped working for me too… so idk anymore

yeah that makes sense. it’s bs, but considering that idv’s australian player base is probably limited i doubt they care. i even think my ping on NA is better than asia even though it’s further away. feels bad this game was one that i played for multiple years and this is what happens to it

My thoughts exactly! really not keen on spending $$ on a VPN just to have half decent ping for IDV, esp knowing a reasonable ping IS possible without VPN and its a server sided issue. Our ping will never be as low as those who actually live near the servers but getting yellow ping <200 shouldn’t be this much of a struggle

Honestly it still feels playable but i make sure to avoid rank generally (its only gonna upset me lowkey) and i dont play hunter often
Sometimes, I use lower tier skins or default skin to help me perform better. I have just been focusing irl, working, coaching idv players for tourney, and posting idv content on YouTube.

maybe we need to make some australian-only custom where everyone just runs around trying to play the game lagging everywhere lmao- that’ll be the only way to play the game somewhat competitively (and fairly)
Uh well that depends on what vpns you have available in your country. Personally I just search for a vpn in the App Store and look for smth with 3.7-4.5 stars, or just scroll post the first few apps. I’ve changed a bunch but rn I’m using X-vpn, Super Unlimited Proxy and Windscribe.
Gecko vpn, super vpn, psiphon etc, although none work for Asia account and not even NORD worked on NE EU account
