How can I, a person from outside the UK, use BBC Iplayer again?

If you know someone in the country or have access to a PC based there you can set up a Tailscale VPN and use them as an exit node. For example I was able to access my Australian streaming account while on holiday in Japan using my PC in Australia as exit node.

At best avoid big name VPNs like PIA and Proton. Otherwise I don’t know …

I have been using Proton for almost 2 years for iPlayer, ITV and Channel 4 with no problem.
