I expired my annual ExpressVPN subscription over a week ago after many years of being one of their customers. I switched to Mullvad’s platform and subscription model and couldn’t be happier with the speeds that I am getting (quite a bit faster than ExpressVPN, in Canada) and their payment plan, which is a fixed rate per month (and it’s just too easy to buy 6/12 month vouchers on Amazon).
I was anticipating to be inundated with offers from ExpressVPN to lure me back as a customer. While I don’t plan on going back – Mullvad is proving to be faster, cheaper and has ‘friendlier’ MacOS/iOS apps – where are the cut-rate deals?
If you’re happy with Mullvad and wouldn’t go back to Express, why do you care?
Love Mullvad. Only downfall is no good for streaming. ExpressVPN is way too expensive in Canada but streams well. I will be trying out others for streaming when my sub gets close to running out. I’ll keep Mullvad for my personal laptops tho
still want to see the deals it might be worth
I have used them all, there is none better for streaming.
Yeah, they upped my renewal by about $17 for 12 months sub. Looking into others. May go with Nord? Nord is $15 bucks cheaper and for 27 months!
Basically, I just use a vpn for streaming on my devices. Occasionally, I will use a vpn on my laptop and on my phone if I need to log into my bank when I am out.
EVPN is out. The rep wouldn’t budge off his price. I still have about a year left on my SS sub (don’t really care for SS), but may go on ahead and get the $102, 27-month deal with Nord.
