UK, PIA, and tried lots of US servers none work. Tried deleting cookies, didn’t help. Tried incognito, didn’t help.
Pretty surprised that they could suddenly block all VPN IPs so effectively… if this is the end of this workaround, then F1 will lose a lot of fans.
So I have a workaround that 99% of users probably can’t use but I’ll share in case there are any homelab/server enthusiasts here. If you clear cookies and reject all of F1TV’s unnecessary cookies, you SHOULD be able to watch content using Cloudflare’s Zero Trust tunnels as long as your server is in a valid country (mine is in the USA). I’m currently in the Balkans and can finally watch the replay of the Hungarian Grand Prix!
For those of you using Express VPN you can use the media streamer option which utilizes a dynamic DNS. The setup is a bit more complicated but it looks like it’s working for now.
Same here with windscribe
Not using a VPN but getting this error, only on desktop mobile app works fine
people like you are why these services aggressively attack vpn usage.
Same here. Any ideas to solve this issue?
Really want to unsubscribe and watch it via some other broadcasters. Really tired of this errors all the time.
I’ve had the same problem but then tried again via a different Browser (Opera GX) without using VPN and I am now able to watch again. Don’t know how long this will work though.
In UK and Jolyon Palmer’s Analysis is working if I turn off the VPN first
Ahh rubbish.
Can’t get it to work on PC, GoogleTV, or phone using Express VPN
Absolut bummer!
Last week i could access F1 TV to watch the race in Hungaria with Surfshark (currently travelling outside Europe). Now the Belgian Spa race is suddenly blocked with F1 tv error code 4100. I found a work around by purchasing a dedicated IP address with Surfshark. Hope this helps. Enjoy the race!
Same problem, i am on vacation in korea and wanted to watch the race with NORD VPN but it just stopped working today
It worked perfectly for Hungary
You just gotta keep switching servers until you find one that works. Try other countries close to the one your sub is from. My sub is from Norway, but I currently live in Japan. I was just able to start watching FP1 by connecting from frankfurt.
Yes, just found out.
So it’s working using Estonia on Proton VPN
Nooo. I was trying to watch FP and was wondering why it wasn’t working
Same issue. Very frustrating. Previously was using a smart DNS via Apple TV, but now cannot access on laptop/iOS or Apple TV using CyberGhost. Looks like everyone having same issue. May be forced to create a dedicated VPN network using dynamic DNS. Has anyone tried this?
Somehow it worked for me randomly. I am using betternet VPN
