Very simple question, does the VPN work in Egypt? I used to be subscribed to SS yeaaars ago and it worked amazingly for around 20 months of my 24 months of subscription but the last 4 were completely unbearable, lots of DCs, not connecting most of the time and when it did connect, it was extremely slow. I tried another VPN for the last 2 months and it worked perfectly but no other company can beat the pricing of SS and their amazing customer service, I felt taken care of whenever I had an issue. Was just wondering if it is back to working well or if it still has a problem connecting and having good speed.
P.S I know that I need a VPN to download from the website, that is almost every VPN here in Egypt, talking about performance after the download and subscription.
Hi, using Surfshark in Egypt should be possible, although it’s likely that you’d have to use either OpenVPN or Wireguard manual connection method.

I do have another issue. I got randomly sent an email after a year of cancelling my subscription saying I got banned? Lol. It was so random. There was no reason stated bedside “breaking the TOS” when I wasn’t even subscribed for over a year…
While we do block accounts for ToS violations, it’s strange if that happened while you weren’t subscribed. Could be due to account credentials being breached online, however, it would be best to report this to our support team.
