Crypto currency gambling in US

I really appreciate your post I can tell you put a lot of time into it , I’m going to just call it quits with online gambling in general I’ve won probably just as much as I’ve lost on chumba , sportsbettingcasino , ect . And I can tell this possibly (with loopholes and restrictions) could get costly and I’m just going to take it as a sign. Will just stick to the old push pull loose machines at my local casino. But I appreciate your time.

It stands for “Know Your Customer” and is the process of you providing documents to prove who you say you are. Each site may have slightly different requirements, but usually is:

  1. Front & Back of drivers license, passport, or identification card
  2. Utility Bill or other official document showing your address
  3. Bank Statements & Source of Wealth (this depends on the site, and the regulations they must follow under the laws wherever they hold their gaming license)

Right. Being KYC’d is the main area of concern when it comes to the crypto casinos. Those sites in particular are targeting US players, so the last thing they would do is KYC somebody. If it ever happened, just one claim would scare everyone off and shut down their entire operation.

So did I… last night

Yes I use ExpressVPN and connect to Canada. No issues thus far.

If you do under 2k at a time you’re good! Over 2,000 triggers AML policies that require you to verify ID, SSN, and address.

Edit: 20,000, not 2,000

My personal suggestion: Give Stake a shot. Even if you aren’t gambling, chatting with the community and seeing everyone post their wins (and losses) in the side bar is quite enjoyable.

Yup, nobody gets rich gambling, that’s for sure.

stupid question what is KYC’d?

Did they ask for a kyc?

what VPN and location do you recommend using roobet?

Yup 20,000 us dollars

Casino requiring you to submit your ID and proof of residence in order to withdraw your funds (for AML— anti-money laundering purposes). It’s my understanding that online casinos are supposed to perform a KYC check if you attempt to withdraw more than $2k. Personally I have withdrawn substantially more than $2k at once, but if I were you, I would err on the side of caution and keep your withdraws in increments below $2k.

It stands for “Know Your Customer”, meaning they require players to upload documents (Driver’s License, Utility Bill, Passport, etc.) in order to approve their payout.

It’s used to combat identity fraud, among many other things.

Nope. Stake will never ask for KYC. They give you the option to verify your account, unlike Roobet which seems to ask for KYC randomly.

ExpressVPN or NordVPN are two popular options.

Damn that’s insane! I’ll keep that in mind.

And for the record, once you withdraw from Roobet for the first time, you should be in the clear moving forward.

Oh awesome. I was wondering if I ever hut a big score like 100k if I would be fine to just cash out, but also like 2k+ if it would be needed.

And if you want to play slots offered by Blueprint and Big Time Gaming (highly recommend Lil’ Devil), I believe you’ll need to connect via Finland.
