There is no remove function for modifying the VPN client list in the Deco app, so you can’t delete a client from the VPN client list once it’s been added. This functionality is also absent from the web portal. So if a device doesn’t play well with your VPN, it’s locked in, and the client lists persists even after removing and re-adding the vpn client to the deco app. Please fix this, TP-Link!
I am using the Deco app on iPhone and finally discovered that it is a swipe left on the client within the client list that allows deleting. This was not intuitive at all and not in the documentation. Hope this helps someone else though
Go into the web admin page to delete.
Tks for the tip man. I was looking for it. Indeed, it isn’t intuitive at all…
been struggling with this for a while you’re a lifesaver hahaha thank you
For Android tap and hold the device you want to remove and click Delete.
Thank you! It helped me!
Can you please elaborate? I’m not seeing this functionality on http://tplinkdeco.net either.
If I’m not wrong it should be under “advanced” options. Make sure your Deco supports VPN client. You should research on your model online. One thing to note, some features are country dependent.
Yes, the model XE75Pro(2.0) supports VPN clients, and it works when I set it up via the Deco app, and this function is available in the U.S.
No, the advanced options from the web page does not list anything regarding the VPN. It also does not have any results for “vpn” when searching on the web page.
