Bypassed Parental Controls

Somehow I was able to visit “restricted” websites using Atlas VPN. Does anyone know if my parents can see when I do it? Also, can they see when I try to visit restricted websites without the VPN?

That is the correct behavior of VPN. You’re tunneling all your traffic directly with your VPN provider. No different if you were to use VPN if your ISP was to block certain sites or monitor your traffic. Now if your parents figured out what you have been doing, that will be discussion between your parents and you.

VPN bypasses the parental controls.

Lol, just realized I can use DuckDuckGo

But will they get some sort of notification?

Any VPN will get around DNS filters. No, they can’t see anything, because eero logs and shows nothing.

If you’re asking about it here, you should be having a frank discussion with your parents .

They don’t know, but if i do it, will they get some sort of notification or something saying that I bypassed parental controls?

*maniacal laughter*

Not always a good idea. We don’t know OP’s situation.
