Brothers and sisters, what is your favorite mobile browser and why?

On my pixel tablet, firefox is not that great. There is no option to set ‘desktop site’ as default and PWAs don’t work well. I am using:
Firefox on my s22
Combination of Brave and firefox on pixel tablet.
Chrome on Chromebook
Edge on my windows PC

It’s a mess.

Same thing here, Firefox, enough said
Brave is also cool but to my mind but maybe a bit “heavy” or slow for old devices.

As a lover of big screened phones, I will forever use a mobile browser with the address/search bar on the bottom of the screen. There are other mobile browsers with this, but I love Firefox’s sync across all my devices as well (i.e. tablet, work computer, desktop computer).

I can’t believe android browsers have worse extension support than iOS safari. I’m always surprised I can’t even get an adblocker or dark reader on anything except Firefox.

a breath of fresh air from the sea of chromium out there

Why is that important?

+1 for Edge exactly for those reasons. Plus it has completely replaced pushbullet and other similar apps for me thanks to its “share to device” and “drop” features. I can instantly send links to my pc browser and open them.

The Bing AI integration is good for summarizing articles. I hate the UI for some reason though.

Same. Love the feature to disable autoplay videos, being able to customize the toolbar, have the address bar at the bottom of the screen, support for ad-blockers, and the dark mode for Web sites that’s built into it.

All in all it’s just a very nice browser, IMHO.

Mine keep crashing lately.

Samsung browser was my go-to for years, it’s surprisingly good for a manufacturers browser.

With that said, Firefox mobile finally won me over. I’ve been using their desktop browser since basically inception, but their mobile browser was hot garbage for years, but through extremely slow improvements it’s now my favorite.

Lol you really recommended a browser that includes targeted ads.

I like that a lot too, but it is quite intensive for my phone and power hungry, so I’m looking for alternatives sadly.

I had started to to see Ads on some pages, so shifted to Kiwi.

I am not finding way to open external apps like Twitter, Revanced. Do you also have same problem?

Dark Reader extension in the Firefox store. Firefox does a decent job for most sites, but DR enables it for all sites and can match the system theme of course.

Firefox is the web browser, Mozilla is the company.

Sorry, had to be that guy lol.

Even better imo due to synced open tabs, ability to send tabs to other devices and mozilla’s pocket service

For me at least, avoiding the monopolistic nature of chromium and its stewardess google. Recent shenanigan from google include WEI Your Computer Should Say What You Tell It To Say | Electronic Frontier Foundation

Agreed, the UI could use improvement for sure.

Try checking for updates. You could also try reverting to a later version before you started experiencing these issues.
