Best VPN For Linux In 2023

afaik hald of these VPNs belong to the same company, theres no reasons or justifications given to differentiate them. its written like one of these weird articles where you just have two paragraphs so you fill it with a huge generic and shallow template, with some buzzwords filled in (maybe not, didnt bother to read all of it, but it surely feels like it).

VPNs are not specific to linux, it makes no sense, unless they force you to use their proprietary client, but then they suck anyways…

don’t use vpn services

So this is a list of the top five VPNS out of a total of…

^^^ This. A hundred times this.

Thanks, saved me a lot of typing.

Exactly this. If you want to set up a VPN for your own network though I have good experiences using wireguard

yeah I could totally be wrong, its quite a long post and I only spend a minute or so looking at it (I was about to lose signal too).

So I glanced at the VPN list and remembered some video about different VPNs (if you want I can find the creator name or video link) and how theres a lot of rebranding and other interesting facts. I recall hearing a few names from that list were mentioned as belonging to other VPNs/own others themselves. But of course, eg Nord could just be affiliated with other VPNs not in the list.

I just hated the way VPNs were represented there, since it kinda feels like advertisement because of the bad article format. But this may be bias. Also I dont like the convolution of VPNs and how every VPN claims to be the best for privacy and have no logs but some still hand out logs of everything (to govs) without any hesitation. So the low focus on each VPN and it’s actual reputation and how they specifically differ was my main problem with it.
