Remove Bitdefender and the issue will go away. It’s garbage software, and their “support” doesn’t care that it breaks other software.
Windscribe doesn’t give a f*ck about fixing their extensions when they don’t work well with other software. So their solution is a pathetic recommendation to “get rid of your antivirus”.
I had solved this by repairing BitDefender, but today I got two Windows Updates (KB 5017022 and KB5016688) and the extension broke again.
So it clearly wasn’t a problem with BitDefender, it was a problem with their shitty extensions.
