The windows client on my machine is very very slow <1MB/Sec when my network connection is >200MB/Sec. On the same network with my Pixel XL is see >80 MB/Sec. Anyone have any suggestions?
Hi there – Yes, we are aware of this and we believe it’s related to the fact that the Windows implementation is not a full system VPN (yet), whereas the Android, macOS and iOS ones are.
We are working on it, and hopefully once we launch it, the performance will be comparable. Sorry about that!
Hi! We just launched the Outline Windows client v1.1.2. This version ships with much more performant code for Windows (courtesy of Shadowsocks) and you should notice a big difference in Download / Upload rates. It also includes the ability to minimize to tray 
If you open the app, you should be notified of the new version and, upon re-launching, you should be automatically upgraded to the latest. If that doesn’t happen, you can re-download from getoutline.org and all your servers should still be there. Enjoy!
