Windows 10 Built-in VPN

Is the windows 10 built in vpn any good when you using torrents? does anyone use it? if not could u tel me some cheap VPNs because i really can’t find any VPNs that suit my pocket

Check out BadcatVPN in your comparison. We are low-cost and work on every platform with any protocol

windscribe is a good vpn

You can build your own plan on their website here

The built in windows VPN settings/options uses L2TP/IPSec, PPTP and IKEv2 protocols. The VPN provider you pick needs to support these protocols.

  • Celo VPN
  • ExpressVPN
  • ProtonVPN

This isn’t a VPN but rather a client. It allows you to connect to a previously bought VPN without needing to download anything.

Side note: I suggest https://www.vortire.com as their £14.99 for an entire year.

Cheers, Koki

Yes, why not? But just be sure you are fully connected while you are torrenting.

Additionally, you can use Rapidvpn torrent vpn at $5.9/m

oh ok, i think microsoft should’ve more explicit with their words

wind scribe looks very interesting def will look more into it

Do you know if they log? I don’t know if I’d trust some of those super cheap ones.

They say no

Says you can P2P on all their servers

Even if they do, I only use this for torrenting and it works well for $5 and have used it once a week for about 6months. Still not stable when compared to Windscribe, but they have been adding servers and some servers may get removed, but no problem I use about 4 of their US Servers all work great for torrenting, qbittorent + BIND to VPN adapter IS A MUST for this one as I said sometimes connection drops (it may auto-reconnect or you have to reconnect manually)

Can’t really complain for one time fee of $5 that already paid itself within a few months of torrenting. Meanwhile, they called Windscribe super cheap VPN in the day got it for $29 for lifetime few years ago.

Definitely would be worth it at that price. It looks like they’re based in the Cayman Islands so at least they’re not US based. That’s a good idea binding the IP address. I use Octane VPN, I got it free with my Usenet. They’ve been pretty good so far and they’ve got decent reviews. It ended up getting me back to torrents alongside Usenet. Really don’t need a VPN for Usenet, at least would recommend ssl though. Anyways, I might try them in a pinch once my year is up. I’ve got a dedicated device for downloads so I wouldn’t be worried about private info being sold. Just my download history and IP leakage maybe. Their website claimed something like 99.99 percent up time. A lot of VPNs lie about logging though.
