What service do you guys recommend for VPN, anti-malware, and password Manager

I have mainly been using MalwareBytes for free for the last year. I am currently looking for password managers for my family but would probably like to start paying for a service for extra protection. I would be getting these services for a personal use (either for just myself or my entire family). I have used NordVPN in the past and saw that they have related software for password managers. Should I have multiple subscriptions for different services or do you think that there is an easy all-in-one plan that is secure and would meet my needs? So far, Bitdefender and BitWarden seem to be the best fit.

Password manager is really good bitwarden

mullvad, bitwarden, and there are a few good AVs, but the top (or most consistent) are Kaspersky and Bitdefender

AV = Kaspersky.
VPN and Password Manager = Proton.

Apparently NordVPN had a data breach in the past and tried to cover it up so that’s a no from me

For family 1password is miles ahead and much easier but comes at a premium price.
If yiur family is more tech savvy and you don’t need additional records and notes then Bitwarden might be OK.

Bitwarden for password manager.
NordVPN for VPN (AV suites below don’t offer as good a VPN)
ESET, Bitdefender and Kaspersky for AV.
ESET is the most lightweight and pick the plan with LiveGuard.
Bitdefender offers slightly better protection but uses up a lot of RAM.
Kaspersky is the top one overall.

password manager: bitwarden

VPN: Private internet access or purevpn
Dont use nord like everyone is recommending, they have been breached multiple times, keep detailed loggs of everything you do and hand over those logs on unwarrented requests no questions asked.

AV: ESET node

Windscribe
Bitdefender
Keepass XC

Proton vpn, malwarebytes, bitwarden

I’m kinda out of the loop, but didn’t Kaspersky be found to have links to some shady organisations?

kaspersky for me , tried bitdefender heard good things about it ,but I felt it did slow down my computer (my own experience )
bitwarden password manager , its free why not .
proton VPN , found it to be the fastest in terms of speed

I use the default windows antivirus, I use mullvad as a VPN, and I use something called Memory for a password manager

VPN: Proton VPN, Password Manager: Bitwarden, Anti-Malware: Emsisoft (Uses Bitdefender + Their own engine)

Wireguard to oracle cloud’s free VM, windows defender with malware bytes free for point scans/selinux enforcing with clamav for point scans, bitwarden.

To those who say vpn isnt needed- Vpn for public wifi or any wifi outside your control=vpn is highly recommended , especially for banking and other financial services. (Although some websites won’t work with vpn).

I use PIA for my VPN. Its relatively cheap and I got like7 years for $120 or something stupid. For password managers I think the only acceptable solution is Bitwarden. With all the support it’s got. From memory there’s an app, website and even a google chrome extension.
I don’t use an antivirus as I’m a cheat developer.

Proton VPN
ESET or Kaspersky

and Proton Pass

Shameless Protectstar plug for antimalware

For VPN = Proton or Njalla (my personal preference, since i have used both, but i prefer more Proton).

About password managers, again this is my personal opinion, but it’s 2024, everywhere you have registered, every website will probably offer you 2FA authorizations, no need for password managers then. I got set it up everywhere and never had any issues with it.

About AV, if you really go into the deep side of the internet, most people would recommend Kaspersky, ESET or Bitdefender. ESET being the lightest, Kaspersky coming next to ESET and Bitdefender is just bloated with stuff and very high memory usage. If you’re the kinda of guy who just watches YouTube etc., my personal preference for you would just stay with windows defender and installing Ublock on your browser.
