What kind of math is this?

There’s still time to delete this bro

But that’s the problem. Phrasing it the way they did, the four months are not free. They should have said $3.48 per month if the four months were free. They’re the ones who screwed up the math in their calculator.

Then why did I get only 24 months and why was I charged for 28?

I used promo code OTT which gives a different deal. The deal appears to have changed since then to $2.88/mo instead of $2.98 with 4 months being free. But the total still doesn’t add up at $80.73. There is an unexplained $23.13 markup.

Yup. I just signed up with Nord using scambaiter’s link that was for supposedly 60% off. It said the same thing, and the only way I could get anything close to that total was multiplying the monthly amt the full 28, so like you said, no free months. I plan on emailing them, but I still went ahead and took the offer. I recently started using iPVtv, and I’m pretty sure my ISP is throttling it. My brother who set up the iptv account for me said they are notorious about targeting iPVtv bc they hate it lol.

Either way I was overcharged. After trying twice to get it fixed through their customer support I am convinced that they are fully aware of the problem and instructed their representatives to “play dumb.” and never accept fault. At least they honored their 30 day refund policy, but not after having me ask for it 4 times and then having to call them again a few days later to follow up because the refund hadn’t gotten through. They blamed “technical problems” and finally got the refund through.

Don’t even get me started on how they try to sneak an auto-renewal at 3x the price past you as well. I’m only here to spread awareness. The way this company conducts business is unacceptable.

They’re charging for 4 extra months that should have been free and on top of that I don’t even get those months.

I only got 24 months of service though as it was stated in my account plans after the transaction went through. And even if it was set to 28, which it wasnt, I shouldn’t have been charged for those extra 4 months since they were advertised as “free”.

24+4 months is 28 months which is 83.44 total.

OP is not getting the 4 months free that it says he will get

Thank  you

The picture bothered me when he wrote 20 + 4…

So the deal is for 28 months with 4 of those months free?

Are you sure your subscription doesn’t start four months from now? I’ve always had the free months at the beginning of a subscription.

I think their mistake is including the 4 “free” months when calculating the final monthly price to make that number artificially lower as that leads to this type of situation. They would be much better off listing the monthly price at $3.37/mo plus 4 free months OR instead of using plus 4 free months use including a free 4 month extension

Buy 24 sandwiches and get 4 more for the exact same price!

And that is an error they need to correct.

I had to pay to start the service. There was no free trial.

Unless you mean as a joke that they retroactively gave me 4 months of “Free service” before the date I signed up for the plan which would be hilarious.

You don’t understand what I meant. When you get free months, the subscription starts several months from now. For example if you pay for Netflix today and you get one free month, you pay today but your paid subscription starts on Nov 26.

Your service starts today but the paid part starts in 4 months. Very standard, check the date at which your service actually starts as a paid subscription.

The day I started the plan and paid I checked my plan’s status in my account and it said that it had 24 months left. There were no free months and I got charged at a higher monthly rate than advertized.
