What is better for torrenting? Airvpn or Torguard or Proton?

I’d like to have an easier gui tbh preferably but if airvpn is so good and better than the other vpns I might will buy it. I’d like to obviously download movies or old video games on QBitTorrent any information would be helpful. I have mullvad at the moment but I did not know they disabled port forwarding lmao so now I’m stuck with having to buy another vpn :frowning:

Airvpn. Sooo easy to set up and port forwarding is smooth. I can still game etc while downloading and seeding. No problems with internet speed.

I use ProtonVPN and I love it!

If memory serves me right, proton uses dynamic port forwarding. As in reconnects results in a new port number so that settings need to be adjusted every time. Not sure about this though, might be misinterpeting their site.

Proton is the best. Port forwarding makes the deal real.

Do they all have port forwarding?

I personally would avoid torguard cause I and many people had issues with them. but both Airvpn and ProtonVPN are great choices. The Airvpn UI looks scary but it’s actually quite easy to use. Also Airvpn is also quite a bit cheaper then ProtonVPN. imo it all depends if you planning to use the VPN for more stuff then just torrenting (For example for accessing streaming services) then go with ProtonVPN but if only planning to torrent then go with Airvpn.

I have problem with Torguard so much keep disconnect every 15-20mins not recommend

Proton does not have true port forwarding so it’s useless for bittorrent

Private Internet Access and/or TorGuard for port forwarding. Personally speaking, I’ve used both in the past and I find that PIA had more options.

And to extrapolate:

The port forwarding is a huge +. The UI is super easy and comprehensible for someone not experienced.

Airvpn also has port forwarding

I’d say AirVPN is better for torrenting since it has 5 static ports instead of 1 dynamic port.

i decided to go with proton cause of the easy ui i maybe should of went with airvpn but i like proton

What does that even mean?

Judging by the downvotes, something seems to be wrong with Mullvad. Can someone enlighten me?

that could be a good thing: less congestion

I’ve read that you need to update your client every time you connect due to the forwarded port changing every time with Proton. Any comment or experience with this? Seems to be a huge downside and inconvenience no?

Yeah I’ll stick with airvpn. I prefer somewhat fluctuating speeds to that hassle.

I know. I am just saying that Proton is my personal favorite.
