I want to play this game and i am from india,
Here this game is not live yet i downloaded it from Tap Tap but it says unknown error when i open it.
I tried bunch of vpn but still i cant play this game.
Anyone playing from india can help me with this problem??
Hello neighbour, I was facing same problem before. Tap tap store WR used to work but now it doesn’t. Luckily I had one play store account where location was Japan and i suppose i made this account 5/6 years back. That’s it, you need Google account of other WR available country and download the game.
And for playing game, I use Singapore VPN server. Although ping is around 80-120. Game is okay to play. There’s some lag here and there but overall no complaints.
Wonder why Riot isnt releasing the game in all countries
You can use sigapore vpn and and download it from google play after clearing the cache of google play.
No one on this sub cares if India gets the game or not, you are asking in the wrong spot. They have the game already they care little to none if India gets the game or not. Now imagine the state of this sub if it was the same case for NA or Europe but that’s beside the point.
The solution is to make a Google account and use vpn to a location where wr is available like Singapore and then download the game. Basically you have to download the game from playstore for it to work. Riot did something a few updates back that breaks the game if it’s downloaded from alternative app stores except Google playstore.
Singapore vpn>Make new Google account>Download the game>switch back to your own acc.
That should fix the error.
I have been playing for 1.5 years now. Two ways

Download from uptodown dot com. Use vpn for first time installation. So you can get your region locked to SEA. I recommend use super vpn.

Clear your Google play store of any accounts than clear cache. After that use Singapore vpn and make an google account. You should be able to install this game. Again repeat the vpn portion to get asia server like in first method.

Move outside of India
Seems like Riot is passing up on free money by not establishing a mobile presence in India - but maybe India just isn’t as profitable as we imagine. Perhaps India’s in-app spending just isn’t up to par with other countries, or maybe there’s excessive red tape to overcome
Unfortunately Wr is unlikely to be available anytime soon in India. Since riot is owned by tencent and India has security issues with any chinese tech companies.
Hello you need to change your phones location to Asia not just a vpn. There’s a video on how to do it on YouTube. After that you need a VPN and download the game. You can pm for more intricate details on how to do this, Good luck!

Use vpn make a European Google account , in their u can download wr and play , on middle east we get around 50 ms ping
Still better ping than my 200 ms in South Africa.

Doesn’t work that way.
If someone who has a Singapore (or any other place for that matter) account (basically stays in a location out of India where the game is downloadable), downloads the game, the game will work fine as long as you are in a location where the game works.
Now say you travel to India with your device which has the game installed, you connect to wifi in India and try to login, the game won’t allow you to login. It just doesn’t work. Even with VPN enabled.

That article is like 6 or 7 months old. Before Riot disabled 3rd party access. I think they’re plans changed after that article was published
First trick don’t work for last 2 updates . They restricted it. Only way is Singapore vpn & playstore
