Issue: Shows that are completed are appearing in continue watching.

This has been going on for a few weeks and it is really annoying me that almost half my library is showing up as unwatched and when I go through the episodes, everyone is watched. I really need a fix for this.

I was not originally asking for tech support - only for a discussion, but the Hulu AutoModerator apparently has other ideas!

We’re using the Roku Hulu app v.6.74 Build 1 and recently noticed the “Continue Watching” section is offering our watch history from ~2-3 months ago. It worked fine earlier this week. We have not refreshed the Hulu app recently, so I am wondering if anyone else is having the same issues…?

BTW, still dislike the Hulu startup jingle and flying transition. Just start the app without… Tnx?

(Hope this does not get AutoDeleted!) (Again)

So anytime I try to log into Hulu on any device, i type in my email and password but it always tell me my password is wrong. So eventually I just started hitting forgot password and typing in the same password as before and it works.

I’ve talked with Hulu support about it and they fixed it temporarily but now it’s doing it again and I’m not sure why. Whether it’s on my home, tv, playstation, etc. it never works.

Does anybody know how i can fix this problem without going through tech all over again about the same issue?

anyone with Live Tv get the message about once a month telling you to log out and then when you log back in it says “replace your password”?

My Hulu on Roku tv has started having some odd audio issues - I start a show and the first few seconds are muted but then after a couple the audio starts up. It’s happening across all shows I watch on Hulu. I can’t seem to find anything about it on Google. Anyone else having this issue?

Problem: can’t verify home location/can’t check in on mobile device even when I’m literally sitting on my couch connected to home wifi.

Devices: Samsung TV, Xbox series x, Samsung galaxy fold 5. Hulu ran on TV and Xbox previously w/o issue.

Steps taken: log out/back in, delete app/ reinstall app, router reset.

If Fan Duel and The Little Ceasars app know where I’m at I think y’all should be able to figure it out.

Why are Hulu’s smart TV apps so bad? I have two different smart TVs, totally different brands, yet Hulu is the only app that constantly crashes, constantly refuses to show content just a blank space where episodes go), almost never shows viewer progress so you have to guess which episode you’re on, usually starts you back on a random past episode, and loves to ask if I’m “still watching” after 1 episode yet if I watch the last episode of a show it will start replaying the last episodes of two different shows back to back, autoplaying one after the other indefinitely until I turn it off.
These bugs are present on both TV. V Seriously, what the f*** is wrong with their apps? I don’t have this issue with any other streaming apps. You’d think such a big company could hire a competent development team.

So I have the Hulu Live tv plus ESPN and Disney package. I would say every 2 weeks I keep getting logged out of all my devices which is like 10 or so. I also have the unlimited screen option. Any idea why it keeps logging me out and telling me I have to create a new password??? It’s getting really annoying…

Why are you’re commercials so loud and the featured broadcast is quiet?

I cannot cancel hulu! Please help. I’ve tried every single line and my subscription is "billed through roku. Please help me.

Device: iPhone, iPad, Roku, and xbox

Service: Disney bundle

I keep getting logged out of my Hulu at random points but it’s only with Hulu. It doesn’t do it with Disney or ESPN, is there a reason why it’s happening? I also had an issue once with it saying my password was incorrect but when I went to change it it said I couldn’t use my current password? Why would it say my password was invalid if it’s the correct password? It’s just happening way too frequently at this point and I don’t really understand why.

Issue: Buffering problems, consistent across two different TV’s in same location.

Device: Currently, INSIGNIA NS-58F301NA22 58 in FireTV, previously SAMSUNG UN58TU7000TXA

Service: Hulu+LiveTV

Steps taken:

  • Usual troubleshooting techniques (turn it off and on again; update app; delete and reinstall app; clear cache, etc.)
  • Replaced old wifi router with eero mesh net (TV is currently 7-10 feet away from node, on a direct line of sight to device)
  • Moved mesh net node to multiple different locations with no change in behavior
  • Buffering issue is totally inconsistent. Sometimes it works fine, sometime it does not load at all.
  • NO buffering issues when viewing from Hulu’s virtual DVR.
  • Internet speed is fast throughout the house, including the location of the TV (confirmed with WiFiman app)

The issue I cannot wrap my head around is that we have the same problem in the same location despite it happening to two completely different TVs and after upgrade to the wifi signal (mesh net). The problem is not the signal strength, and none of the other TV’s in the house have this issue, including TV’s farther away for the wifi nodes.

Issue: what the hell happened with the English subtitles? Now on both devices I use, the subtitle fonts have changed font type and size for multiple shows from multiple channels (new and old shows) to look more like standard USA Closed Captioning on a cable tv.

Device: Rolu tv and Samsung Tablet

Service: Hulu-no ads

I mean this is more of an aesthetic complaint than anything and probably me being picky, but this just happened a couple of days ago and I’m here like “WTF mate?”

The Indian movie “Pizza (Telugu)” has no English subtitles. NO SUBS AT ALL. Please fix that

Currently have an issue where I log in and it states hulu is only available in the US and that it cannot be used with an anonymous proxy service. I don’t have one active and I’m In the US. Tried it on my phone, TV and computer and all no good.

On the mobile app: on the top of the screen, the name of the movie/show and the 3 dots beside it immediately crash the app when tapped on

Issue: Unable to access Disney +.

“Device:”, Apple TV

“Service:”, Hulu (No Ads) + Live TV, Disney+ (No Ads), and ESPN+ (With Ads)

“Steps Taken:”

- Login to Disney+ with hulu information, the disney website makes me choose a plan, and informs me that I am already a subscriber and that I need to be redirected to Hulu. “In order to complete purchase of the Disney Bundle, we will need to redirect you to Hulu.com.”

I go to hulu and it is showing me the service that I have above.

Somebody please help!

Constant Rununk13 issue on Website using OperaGX browser.

Half the shows and movies I wanna watch I just straight up can’t, and sometimes it’s only a problem with a specific episode in a show too. The only fixes I can find are for the Mobile App.

Issue: unable to stream current season (Delicate) of American Horror Story (all other seasons streaming okay); the season title is there, but no episodes appear

Devices: Vizio Smart TV, Roky, online (Chrome and Firefox browsers), iPhone and iPad

Service: Hulu (No Ads) + Live TV, Disney+ (No Ads), and ESPN+ (With Ads)

Steps Taken: 1) Log out and back in. 2) Delete app and add it back. 3) Reset devices.
