VPN won't connect

Today I wanted to connect to my VPN [Desktop version(location doesn’t matter)]. After trying to connect it instantly disconnected. I didn’t change anything about my pc; I restarted, nothing; I reinstalled Dashlane, nothing; I re-set up the VPN, nothing.

No clue why this is happening since it does work on my Mobile version. Only have the desktop app, mobile app and 1 browser version added.

Edit: After I reset my PC again the VPN had uninstalled itself so I just reinstalled it and then it started working again.

Although the the Dashlane VPN isn’t the best, it’ll do for now!

Contact support on twitter. They respond fast! Fixed my problem in a few back and forth messages.

It has never worked for me, unfortunately.

Yes there is no official support yet on Reddit (incoming) but you can message us on Twitter or our support website!

Support told me to try and remove the VPN and then reinstall it.

  1. Open the Dashlane app
  2. Navigate to the VPN menu
  3. Select “Uninstall VPN” and carry the procedure until the feature is completely uninstalled
  4. Go back to the VPN menu
  5. Select “Set up VPN” and carry the procedure until the feature is reinstalled

For what it’s worth for PC users, I just did that. And it appears to have solved the problem.

I don’t have this option on iOS

Oh you’re on IOS, sorry. Those were for PC. Not sure what it is on IOS, try to contact their support on Twitter or via Email like the guys in the comments above said.
