VPN without Tunnel All?

So, I have a UNM Pro, and have enabled VPN. I need to remote in to access a single application, which mostly works okay.

The problem I have is that when I’m remote, the VPN tunnels all of my traffic through my UDMP network, and not just the specific traffic I would like to access the remote network.

Is there a way to disable that?

What you are asking for is a split tunnel. This can be accomplished in different ways depending on the type of client OS and type of VPN (Wireguard, L2TP, etc.) you are using.

It’s secret info, a split tunnel is what you want but ssh!!

FOUND IT - thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

Basically, under the VPN connection settings (network adapter) go to Properties, then Networking tab, then IPv4 Properties, then Advanced, then Advanced, then disable the “Use default gateway on remote network”.

I’ll post a screenshot in a moment. Thanks.

Windows 11 using the windows VPN settings.

This is how I configured everything.

Yep! That sounds like the option I would have tried. Didn’t have a PC in front of me. Glad you found it.

Give this a try and see if it works. It’s been a while since I’ve set up a native VPN connection on Windows.
