I’m from New Jersey where pick em sites such as Prizepicks, Underdog, Sleeper, etc are not allowed. Anyone have any success using a VPN to use these apps? Any issues with getting paid out if using a VPN?
You live in a state with many legal gambling options, and you’re trying to give your money to the ‘work-around’ companies that only exist because they sprung up to take advantage of a loophole in states for people who have no legal gambling options?

It doesn’t work with Prizepicks. I live in a legal state and the website/app freaks out if my VPN is enabled at all.
I know this isn’t what you’re asking, but prizepicks, underdog etc are notorious for offering vastly shittier odds than traditional sportsbooks. Not sure if you’re aware of that or not. Most bets you make on one of those sites you can make on a sportsbook for a larger payout.

Only way to use prize picks in illegal state is with a newer Samsung phone like the S22 S23 S24.
So say I’m from New York just signed up again for prize picks (disabled my account because of the trophy thing) but I’ve been planning on these seasons prop bets that I’ve wanted to place I usually do one parlay where it consist of like Josh Allen passing yards another running backs, rushing yards say Justin Jeffersons receiving yards Tyreek’s receiving yards, etc. When I leave New York are the trophies going to be on PrizePicks when i travel through a legal state because they already know I reside in New York or will I just log on and it’ll switch to normal I planned on placing it while driving through Georgia because I’m going to Florida please help !!!

Yeah, unless there’s a “risk free” promo, I stay far away from these sites.
For me personally, the prop bets that I like to make are the seasonal ones so I can make a nice parlay with say Josh Allen, pass yards CMC rush yards, Justin Jefferson receiving yards and make it a three pick parlay and slap 20 bucks on it maybe win like 300 then I don’t have to worry about betting as much during the season because I already have that setback and I just get to watch and hopefully they have good seasons

My only concern is books like FanDuel usually do not have certain lines PrizePicks offers… and the line may be off by 1 assist or one rebound which can be a huge deal, obviously
