VPN by Google not working on 21-Jun-2024. Cannot connect to any websites on p8p when enabled. Disabling the VPN restored all connectivity.
Had Internet problems all morning. It took me a few hours to figure out the VPN was the problem. Very frustrating. I don’t understand why Google would allow the VPN to simply break rather than disable it.
P8 on Fi. Is this why nothing seems to be loading on my phone?
Had problems for several hours, only works with VPN turned off, finally got an update for Google One, and the VPN seems to work now

The replacement VPN by Google working fine here in the UK on my Pixel 7a and the Google One Vpn Windows app is disabled as of the 21st
My pixel 7 VPN hasn’t been able to connect for about 24 hours.
I thought pixel 7 users were getting to keep VPN access? No updates waiting so this is quite frustrating.

I have a pixel 7a, still no access to VPN by Google. I said forget and just signed up for a paid VPN. I don’t want to be at the mercy of Google’s arbitrary decisions. Good luck.
Yesterday (2024-06-20) and earlier today, I was unable to connect to several mainstream sites when I had VPN by Google enabled (not the Google 1 VPN). Some other mainstream sites remained accessible. When I disabled the VPN, all sites were accessible.
As of this moment, the problem is not happening - all sites are available when VPN is connected.

It stopped in Google One but you can find the new one in the settings(search for “VPN”), if you have the June update.
You need to add a new shortcut for the pull down menu and remove the Google One shortcut.
I had nothing but issues yesterday until I turned it off. Didn’t cross my mind that this was due to the scheduled disabling, considering I’m on a Pixel which should still have it. But I’m on the 15 beta.
Working fine for me on my Verizon P8Pro once I restarted today.
Is not working for me currently but only some websites dont work. It’s a lot of them but not all.

I’ve had this issue with VPN by Google for a long time (like a 1+ years). Disabling VPN does fix it, but I’m using the VPN for a reason (connected to public wifi), so I don’t want to have to disable it. It just seems to happen at random too. Like a site/app will be working but suddenly it won’t.

You should see another Google VPN. I clicked it and now it’s enabled
I saw a lot of people say to turn off VPN and as someone who doesn’t use the Google VPN except in pretty rare occasions, I turned it on now and I was able to download apps, Speedtest, and surf the web just fine as if I had no VPN. Not sure if this is really a YMMV issue.
