Venezuela's Maduro signs decree blocking X access for 10 days

hmmm I don’t know about that. The politicians and the machine make use of artists like Taylor Swift. But then it’s about money and power as to what actually happens as far as power, action, war and peace, etc. Artists, not even Taylor, just don’t have any control over those actions of realpolitik that actually take place.

So the understanding that one’s economic system, and not the policies they champion, define oneself on the political spectrum seems ass backwards. How do individuals self identify as conservative or liberal in countries like the UK or the US? By whatever policies they vote for right?

So how can there be a spectrum if the whole spectrum is based off of economic policy?

consistently for all their misinformation

Ya miss this part? All being the operative word.

An incomplete list is an effort, sure, but the problem is defining the source of truth when defining what is a lie (or misinformation).

Yes it is about them losing, because if they don’t lose they will do this again, and when they do this again EVEN MORE LIVES WILL BE LOST

But I guess you just can’t really fathom that rewarding imperialism leads to even more death in the long run?

How about Russia invades your country and takes your land for themselves and you give up so more deaths don’t happen?

I honestly can’t tell if you’re being so obtuse as to not see the obvious or you really don’t see the obvious

Google the political compass and you will see what I’m talking about. Left/Right is only half the story.

Did Musk post something and then delete it?

Yes.

That is the objective fact… there is no definition problem here…

He posted misinformation. End of story.

And he will continue to do so up to the election.

This subthread is going nowhere. Have a good day.

I know what the political compass is, it doesn’t answer the question I asked you.

Did i say he did not post misinformation? You miss the point entirely i think.

“Liberal” and “Conservative” in the the US and UK have more to do with the political parties who have adopted those identities and are very fluid. A conservative in 2024 has a very different ideology from a conservative in 1924. When we are discussing Right/Leftwing, economic policy is what is typically being referred to. It just so happens that modern conservatives tend to favor liberal economics and authoritarian social policies. Consequently many “liberals” tend to favor liberal social policies and rather authoritarian, leftwing economics.
