Sorry if this is a silly question but I’d like to know if it’s possible to use Adguard on Android with a VPN service like Mullvad.
Obviously adguard creates a local vpn connection so I don’t think it is possible but just wanted to check if there are any workarounds ?

Not possible, the only way would be to use adguard DNS (without app and local VPN), then you are able to use 3 party VPN.
Not super familiar with Mullvad, but one solution would be to use ad blocking features in your VPN client. I’ve used this in the past with PIA service and their client.

You can setup adguard to route requests through a proxy server. NordVPN and other providers typically give you an option to use an https or sock5 proxy
