Using a VPN with Xbox party chat on PC

Hello, I am new here I figured I would reach out because I am coming up empty on my search.

I currently am using Nord VPN for gaming and everything else. The main issue I have found is that xbox party chat doesn’t seem to work on the pc while using it. The recommended settings are using the Nordlynx connection type, then UDP, neither of those work. It works using TCP connections however, it slows my speeds down to about 20mbps down and 5 up from 500 mbps down and 40 up.

Nord VPN supports split tunneling, and I feel I have whitelisted all of the xbox services I could find, but it still doesn’t work. I found articles and posts of people talking about using split tunneling to get it to work but nobody seems to mention a list of services so I could look at to see what I was missing. Any help would be appreciated.
