It worked for me using vpn with Hong Kong :hong_kong_sar_china: location

With Hola VPN, only the Hong Kong proxy worked.

Yay got it

Installed Hola Vpn extension

Opened an incognito window

Connected to Hong kong

Logged in to Ubisoft and claimed the game

Can you get banned when you use Chinese VPN ?

Got it to work after a few tries. I believe it will fail if you were already logged in. Activate China VPN then use a different browser where you are not logged in on Uplay and log in once you are connected to VPN and it should work.

I got it successfully through (urban vpn) chrome extension, here’s how:

1: connect to hong kong vpn via Urban VPN

2: open the link provided in the post from incognito browser

3: you will get the game successfully

I give up, the game is not worth going through this much effort. The foxyproxy extension doesn’t work and i don’t want to install anything on the pc for a “free” game.

Thanks OP for posting instructions, seems that not all the Hongkong vpns work.
Tried first with Windscribe but it didn’t work, then changed to ExpressVpn and I was able to do it, first try.

Thanks I got it for others you just need Hola Vpn and Brave Browser simply connect to Hongkong Vpn then log in and Claim it for free…

It took a few tries, but got it to work for me too! Thanks! I had to use a China proxy from the list and used the Firefox extension mentioned to get it added to my library.

I got it working with a random VPN set to Hong Kong and it showed up for me. It’s in my library now. Thanks again for the find!

For whoever’s having trouble with China/Hong Kong taking forever to load: I tried Taiwan with UrbanVPN. Finally page loaded and had no problems to log in naither :smiley:

UrbanVPN - Taiwan, sign into Ubisoft via browser with this active, then go the the URL. Worked for me
