Any updates on the app for Apple TV? It’s been a while!
It’s not available yet but you can use a VPN router to connect your Apple TV device to the VPN. TorGuard offers an OpenVPN and Wireguard config generator in the members area:
There is an app called ‘VPN Client Bee’ on the TV OS app store. Its a VPN client that allows you to upload a VPN configuration via a web address. I generated a wireguard configuration with the torguard config generator and uploaded it, this is working for me.

They obviously haven’t started if they are providing instructions to VPN at the router.
Thanks for the input. Do you know if this will work for dedicated ip’s? I really need to be able to VPN my Apple TV through a dedicated ip address.
Update: So I was able to set it up with a dedicated ip but when I was trying to check my ip through a speed test, it kept disconnecting. I tried to resave the config and now it’s asking me to pay $30 for an annual subscription. Will probably give it a miss and move VPN providers to one that offers dedicated ip’s and an Apple TV app.
Update 2: I gave the app Passepartout a go it’s a $15 one off fee and allows me to use my dedicated ip config. Still annoying I have to use a 3rd party, but for $15 saves me the hassle.
