The Plan: Playing Far Cry 6 early using New Zealand VPN. Playing in just 1.5 hours on PC

GAME IS LIVE AND I AM PLAYING RN. THE PLAN WORKED!

So last time when Far Cry 5 came out, I would just use a New Zealand VPN, then open Ubisoft Connect and the game would be unlocked 12 Hours earlier than I could normal play.

It’s 10:30 PM right now in New Zealand, which means the game should unlock in 1.5 hours.

I’ve got UrbanVPN (free) ready which should give a free New Zealand VPN which should do the trick. If you have a problem with free vpns and their data collection, you should do your own research.

Let’s see if this works again

I’m using a VPN (Mullvad) to connect to New Zealand and starting up uplay. Uplay still shows FC6 unlocking at my local time (Pacific) instead of New Zealand time.

Is a VPN working for anyone? Cause I don’t think it’ll work for me. I’m talking about PC, of course.

WORKING. I’m in Vancouver Canada… Tunnelbear is working for me. I also changed my PC region to NZ. A nice 6 hour early treat!

It’s quite astonishing to see that the Free version worked and you were able to play the game. As free ones usually have DNS leakages and your real identity can be traced. I unlocked mine using Ivacy, obviously using the paid subscription.

I just bought Express VPN. They offer easy refunds. I will refund my subscription tomorrow when the game releases actually tomorrow. If you’re looking for this trick, use express vpn only. Their refund system is quite seamless and easy. Others are a nightmare like Nord and Surfshark.

I think it will be in 4 hours because in the picture with release hours for PC it says 12:01 AM AEST for Asia & Oceania. At the time of this message that means there are still 3 hours and 36 minutes to go.

Only for Xbox it says local time where ever you are.

I have my vpn set to new Zealand and the game was playing up through the first cutscenes and then crashed. Trying it again now

When using a vpn (Surfshark) my Uplay disconnects after 20 minutes and kicks me from the game, Anyone know why this might be?

Hey any advice on this? I am using expressvpn to connect to new zealend but ubisoft connect still says “pre-loaded” …
