Sometimes mudfish won't connect to the game

Hi all.
I play in Asian(Korean) servers with vpn program “Mudfish”.
I would love to play on other servers, but North America has a high ping that I can’t lower, and there are very few people in Europe, and I like to play ranked games, so I use vpn for Korea.
After the preseason patch, in the lobby i ALWAYS have a ping of about 120 for Korea (which is normal for me), but when I enter the game, in 40% of the games I have a ping of 220-320. In the other 60% of games with ping everything is fine. It seems that vpn does not always connect to servers. Although before the pre-season patch, mudfish worked fine.
If I’m playing with a friend and I see 300 pings, I just restart the game and everything goes back to normal and I see my stable 120 pings(This time the mudfish connected successfully). But when I’m playing solo, I can’t restart the game. character will die.
Does anyone know why mudfish sometimes does not connect to the game?
Has anyone come across this problem and know the solution?

I wrote to the support of the mudfish, they tried to help me, but it did not work out.

I wrote to Eternal Return support, they told me to reboot the router and install the game on the ssd. It feels like they didn’t read my problem.

I hope for your help.

I tried messing with various vpns and they all do that. Just the nature of the beast.

Best thing you can do is shut off the game reconnect the boot it back up with that fresh connection. After a certain amount of time certain vpns will just crash the game.

Think it has something built in like the “are you still watching” you get from streaming services or something that knocks you off.

I used to use Mudfish and would frequently dc (or have to manually change Mudfish servers mid-game). It’s a fairly low quality service which is why it’s so cheap.

I would highly recommend trying Exitlag, it’s a bit more costly but way more stable/consistent and reduces ping more than Mudfish. At least in my experience

Thanks for the advice. Played 5 games with ExitLag. Everything worked stably. The ping is the same as with the mudfish, no less no more
