As above - trying to download a new router config file and/or reset my credentials for Proton OVPN client installed on router. Tab/page keeps bombing in both Chrome and Edge - can’t do a reset, and can’t download new config file.

Can you share some more details about this? Are you receiving any error messages?
Are you connected to a VPN while trying to download the file?
What type of internet connection are you using (e.g. home, work, public, school, mobile, etc.)?
Have you tried using your browser in private/incognito mode?

For me it takes like 4 seconds to load, but I can download files
It seemed to sort itself out after 10-12 hours. Basically, the web page crashed - and I couldn’t a) refresh my credentials and b) download any OpenVPN config files. It happened in every browser I tried (duck duck go, chrome, edge), was not connected to a VPN (LTE cell connection for Internet), and was not in incognito mode. Just very strange - but seemed to resolve itself.
