NordVPN does have some “Threat Protection” AV crap built-in.
But for Nord you can fully disable it , and its optional , and you can even decide if Entirely off , entirely on , or even a “lite” DNS level one.
if you disable it or use the Lite one there isnt any threatprotection related stuff running in background.
Its also not another “addon” subscription.
