Well I didn’t knew they had a permanent free option so it was good I checked the main page.

There are easy workarounds for that. Where are you? I’m in Canada and I have the trial going. First, sign up with a service like SmartDNS Proxy or Unblockus to make it appear you are in the US. These services and others give free 2 week trials with no credit card needed, just like Sling is doing. Set it up, then go to the Sling site, sign up for the trial and off you go.
I’ve got a vpn, may look into signing up.
Still have plenty to watch on Netflix and prime right now
If you’re looking for use of the DVR or favorites while on Oculus (unless they fixed it), you need to sideload the latest Sling Android TV APK, the one available in the Oculus Store is too old and doesn’t function 100% for anything outside of just watching live TV.
