Except in New Zealand where you only get 10 points for searching an approved topic and that topic rarely changes.
yup! I do the same, takes just 5 mins and a cup of coffee, I dont know why more people dont take advantage of this really great program
I haven’t figured out what to do to get points. Somehow, I have 48 and don’t know how. On the other hand, I have multiple game purchases that should qualify and have’t gotten anything from those.
I hope they expand this to more countries soon.

For people new to MS Rewards: The Xbox Live and Game Pass rewards are a much better value in terms of reward points per dollar
12 month Xbox Live is 29000 points, typically $60 if you bought it (483 points per dollar)
3 month Game Pass is 17000 points, typically $30 (566 points per dollar)
$100 gift card is 91000 points (910 points per dollar)Spend your points on Xbox Live until you have 3 years maxed out, then switch to Game Pass if you’re interested in that. I earn about 9000 points a month just from doing the Daily Set, anything in the More Activities section, and PC/Mobile Bing search points every day.
It’s also a good idea to wait for hot deals. The 12 month Xbox Live drops to 24000 points sometimes

Based on how long it’s taking me just to get 12 months of Xbox live… I would guess 32 years.
Probably 7-8 months give or take assuming you do all the daily bonuses.

Based on my very quick calculations of the U.S. rewards system: If you do the max searching and daily rewards segments, you’ll get 320 points a day. Should you do that for the year, you’d earn 116,480 points in the year. That is not counting the random bonuses they give throughout the year. That averages out to about 9,700 points a month.
I’ll add that there are very often bonuses and daily rewards sprinkled throughout the day, so it’s possible to get anywhere from the 117k points to probably around 125k points if you do a full 365 days of searching.
This probably only applies to the US by the way. For example here in Germany you often don’t get 30 points a day for various activities… Sometimes you do, sometimes it’s only 10.

If you search using Bing in the US you get a minimum of 250 points per day thats 7500 per months. That’s not even counting all the quizzes and extra points they give you. If you wait for a sale you can get $10 for every 7500 pts. $120 a year or you could get 4 Years of Xbox Live lol. You can get even more if you take the Quizzes/Extras
You have to use the bing search engine while being logged in. If you’re in US, then limit is 150 pts on bing search engine on a PC browser, 20 pts on edge browser while logged into bing, 100 pts on mobile while logged into bing. Then you have the 30-50 pts in links daily that you mentioned. Sometimes you will get an email (usually in junk filter) that contains some extra links/quizzes for pts, probably only like 50 pts a month on average I’d say.

You’re confusing two different things. Xbox Rewards program was just discontinued and was a massive cluster fuck. Microsoft Rewards used to be Bing Rewards and has always been freaking sweet.
The $180 value is accurate though since that’s the regular face value. Gold memberships also go on sale regularly on Microsoft rewards. It was only 21k for the whole month of February.
If we’re using $40 as the base price, because it goes on sale for that. Then we also need to use the sale price for gold on MS rewards. Putting it back to around $175 value.
Edit: Just wanted to note that you can only have 3 years of live staked at once though.
Will you get banned for using VPN for Microsoft rewards?
Would that work though? Considering the gift cards/points are region locked to the US, I don’t think it would work here even with VPN.

Maybe you should set up your rewards account so you actually get the points. I don’t buy many games that often and I have gotten at least $30 in the past 4-5 months.
