Hello. I’m searching for a browser-based proxy like hidemyass.com that i can selfhost, because my school’s firewall started blocking OpenVPN (even port 80 TCP). What would be the easiest solution?
Thanks

Check out this guide. It’s a detailed comparison of various proxy servers/browsers covering features. It’s helpful for making an informed choice.
SoftEther - full VPN server, lots of options but easy to set up
or
TailScale - uses wireguard under the hood, easier solution but can be slow depending on type of block on your school
Maybe not exactly what you’re asking, but you can self-host https://github.com/serjs/socks5-server and set up Firefox or a Chromium browser to use it as a proxy server.
Firefox has a built-in proxy configuration, while in Chrome (or whatever chromium browser), you must use an add-on like SwitchySharp.
Something like this might be what you are looking for instead of a vpn
OP means something like https://www.croxyproxy.com, where OP can enter an address in the browser and can access anything that would normally be blocked.
