ProtonMail brings its ProtonVPN service to Android

They ALL keep logs (they have to) …

Source?

I use the paid tier of ProtonVPN, and it is excellent. The paid features (“Secure Core” double-hop and less busy servers) are worth it for me. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

too bad you have to pay to use the Proton Bridge.

Is there a benefit to ProtonMail over Gmail?

Privacy isn’t a huge concern for me.

It’s planned but not at the moment. You can just use OpenVPN if you want an open source app as they allow everyone including free users to connect with OpenVPN clients.

P2P means peer-to-peer. Basically no P2P means no torrenting.

US-based vs Swiss-based. Switzerland is not part of the 14 eyes program. Prominent privacy websites advise to avoid 14-eye based VPNs.

No, but I also don’t use that extra security feature.

Why is pia so low? I have used the service and think the android app is good and I get good speeds. Nordvpn app was not to my liking but why is air vpn the best?

What’s the issue with PIA?

NordVPN is not recommended anymore from a couple of sources, neither PIA due to their size as a service.

I use Mullvad, completely anonymous.

Used AirVPN for torrenting and with its 2$ one day price to get some shit it;s unbeatable.

I’d totally switch Nord and PIA.

Nearly everything about PIA is better.

why Air VPN?
you should probably reverse those arrows

Just turn the router on & off?

If it’s not too much to ask sure. Honestly a VPN with unrestricted speeds is all I want. I don’t mind one of payments but another subscription thing is just a no go in my books.

I use it and it’s been sufficient enough to stream HD video. Probably the best free VPN out there.

It’s not as bad as you think, it plays 1080p videos very well and doesn’t feel different from browsing without. The free version is practical to use.

First and foremost, it’s the only VPN I found that bypasses my work and university’s firewall.
It has the best speeds, compared to Torguard, PIA, Nod, and a few others I’ve tried.

Also has the best VPN client (by far IMO).

I’ve been let down by quite a few VPNs out there. I finally found a VPN that I can use 24/7 without any hiccups.
