IP is hidden for obvious reasons.
if you want to make sure it NEVER use your system dns (the one served by your dhcp), there the “Ignore System/Network Servers” to enable, it’s made for this exact purpose
Are you sure you have your browser and PC configured properly to allow PM to handle DNS traffic?
here is the wiki page for this
just search for leak in the search on the wiki
https://wiki.safing.io/en/FAQ/DNSLeak
as it says in the post, all such claims have turned out to be bogos
I use Cloudflare DNS in Portmaster and the DNS setting in Windows is set to auto as suggested by Safing. Chrome has secure DNS disabled and other “security” settings turned off except the basic ones. If I use only NordVPN there are no DNS leaks, same if I change the DNS in Windows settings. I suggest everyone to check for DNS leaks at https://ipleak.net/
Not a DNS expert here. Just trying to give you some reference material that might help. Did you read the site I referred to below.
https://docs.safing.io/portmaster/faq#why-does-the-dns-leak-test-say-that-i-have-a-leak
“The easiest thing you can do is to take the IP addresses the leak test says you are leaking and enter them on this page: https://bgpview.io/”
“Leaks test are always built for a specific service. If a leak test says you are “leaking”, it means that your device is not configured exactly as they expect”
It is my ISP DNS that is leaking. PC is configured correctly
